°3 cups plain flour
°1 teaspoon sugar

°1/2 teaspoon dried active yeast

Preparation
Mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a bowl.
Slowly add the hot water and olive oil and mix until the dough comes together.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes,
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Roll out the dough and shape it into a ball. Place the dough on a greased baking sheet.
Using a sharp knife, make several holes in the top of the dough and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and hollow rings appear when tapped on the bottom.
Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing and serving.
Note: If you don’t have dried active yeast,
