Whether you’re craving breakfast, lunch or dessert, these traditional southern peach fritters will satisfy your taste for sweetness. They are delicious with their sugary peaches and crispy exterior.
What you need: Amount of ingredient
2/3 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup common flour and 1/4 cup baking powder. teaspoon fraction

Prepare the dough: mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg) in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs and vanilla. Mix the dry ingredients with the liquids and mix until all is incorporated.
Incorporate the peaches. Gently mix the sliced peaches until evenly distributed.
To begin with, heat a large skillet or fryer with vegetable oil to a temperature of 350°F, or 175°C, over medium heat.
To make the fritters, gently place two or three teaspoons of dough in the hot oil and press a little. For a golden, crispy finish, cook for two to three minutes on each side. Then, pour the remaining fat by transferring it to a plate lined with kitchen paper.
Combine powdered sugar with powder: use powdered sugar to cover the fritters.
